This time last year...

去年今日、ぼくは日本の友達と上高地と畳平で旅行を楽しんでいた。

僕にとって上高地は二回目だったけど、去年の方がよく印象に残っている。

初めて行ったときは良く晴れていた。

去年は最初のうち天気悪かったけど、途中から晴れてきた。

イギリスの平均的な天気よりは全然マシ（笑）

This time last year i was on vaction with one of my Japanese freinds in Kamikochi, Nagano prefecture.

The picture above is very...atmospheric!

Although the weather was poor it didn't really bother me as the weather in the uk is much worse anyway.

 上の写真は畳平。上高地の後で行った。

ちょっと雰囲気はイギリスの湖水地方っぽいと思った。

でも、上の山と下のイギリスの湖水地方の写真を比べると、イギリスの山と日本の山の違いが何となく分かるかな？

We visited Tatamidaira after being at Kamikochi.

I thought that Tatamidaira seems a little bit like the Lake District in England.

However, if you compare the two pictutures  you may be able to tell the diffrence between Japanese mountains and English ones.
